Just a Couple of Things

Did you notice that I missed a post yesterday? I had to deal with a rheumatologist that gave me a bit of bad news.  My neck has been a pain for a while, and he diagnosed it with some rare five-word type of arthritis. I’m not really worried about it (if he’s right about it at all), as it’s been hurting for a long time. I figured it had to be something. Anyway, that’s why there was no new post (well, that and a good dose of temporary medication that the doc gave me – it laid me out).

Although computers and writing are wonderful things, it will take a toll on you. Beware!

But enough about me. I had intended to write this post to let you know that Paul, from the Struggling Writer, seems to have won a small short story writing contest.

I spent a little bit of time going through his story with a fine-toothed comb. I’m picky, as I’m sure you’re aware, and saw some things that I thought would make his story better. If Paul doesn’t mind, I might post the edits here in the next few days.

Thanks Paul. Things are starting to get better. I'll just have to take a more proactive approach - which means less time at the computer. That's probably a good thing to tell you the truth!
