Do You Know What a Lede is?
I’ve been meaning to post this information for a few days now. For those of you who are interested in journalism, you may want to check out this series of posts by Dave Cohn. Dave is an aspiring journalist, who has had some interesting and (it seems) successful opportunities with the popular magazine Wired
The following links, starting with the first, discusses what Ledes are, and then goes on to discuss how to write ledes. I’ve never really learned much about journalism, but Dave lays it out pretty well, and makes it easy for someone (even me) to understand it.
