Tootin' My Own Horn

So, I’m really writing tonight to toot my own horn. It’s kind of off topic, and quick, because I’m ready to go enjoy a Friday night off.

I’ve never really had my writing accepted anywhere before. Remember, I’m still as green as they come in the writing world (but I’m working on changing that!) Anyway, are any of you familiar with Problogger.net? It’s a very informative site (with a large following) that assists people with monetizing their blogs. No, this is not the SOLE intention of my blog, but it sure doesn’t hurt when it brings in enough to pay my Typepad blogging bills. So, anyway, Darren Rowse (the owner of the blog) sent out a request for article submissions. And, yada, yada, yada, what do you know? It was accepted and posted. If anything, it’ll help with more exposure for my blog and maybe with future writing endeavors.
