18 Common Writing Mistakes
I hope everyone has had a great weekend so far. In the process of working on the second half of my last posted writing exercise, I came across an article titled The Standard Deviations of Writing by Roger MacBride Allen. If you are a budding writer, I would suggest you take a few minutes to read it. As the title of this post suggests, the article contains 18 common writing mistakes (grammatical and substance related) that are interesting and helpful. He gives us these points in a matter of fact, stern, and no BS style. I have a feeling that this is due in part to reading one too many horribly written manuscripts from his students. Be as it may, it is still great information.
If you get a chance, take a gander at these 18 Common Writing Mistakes. Do you see anything in this list that plagues you? I’ve already caught a few errors that I happen to make often.

Enjoyed the article; haven't laughed so hard in ages. I'm a great fan of parody. What did Vardaman say in "As I Lay Dying?" More recipes, please.
